CK Editor is Now Available for Drupal

One of the best WYSIWYG editors available for Drupal has been the FCK editor.  The FCK Editor was replaced with a new and improved editor known as the "CK Editor" in February 2010. 

CKEditor inherits the quality and strong features people were used to find in FCKeditor, in a much more modern product, added by dozens of new benefits, like accessibility and ultimate performance.

Having installed the new CK Editor on several applications, I have found the new features of the CK editor to be quite impressive.  The developers of CK editor have really gone out of their way to build on the popularity of the FCK editor to bring a first class editor to the next generation.

The CK Finder feature is especially convenient with thumbnail support for system images.  This is a huge improvement over the list styling of the previous versions.  Now you can browse your image folders for the exact images you wish to use and find them with ease.
